We finally had a free weekend, so we decided to put up the trees. Usually we squeeze it in during December between Brittanie's birthday, Hanukkah, and all of the other million things that go on then. We feel a little ahead of the game, but I am sure that will change. Anyway, I always find that putting up the tree totally stresses me out. I don't know why. Maybe I get it from mom, who always stressed over trying to get the string of lights around the tree.Lol! Although, I have no excuse, our trees already have the lights on them. But the trees are up, and they look so pretty. It w
as bittersweet, because Brittanie and Heather were not interested in decorating the tree. It was just Ryan, Nicole, and I. Dennis decided his job was done after dragging all of the boxes down from the attic.
Speaking of Brittanie's birthday, I can't believe my baby is going to be 16. Instead of a big party, she wants to go to dinner with some friends, have them sleepover, and go to a Carolina Hurricane's game. We are so proud of the young woman she has become.
