Wow! It has been very busy around here. First things first, Happy Birthday little brother! We had a nice time together Sunday afternoon, enjoying yummy Mexican food Dennis made. The kids loved playing together, and Aunt Christine loved that there was three different kinds of cake to sample. Oh, and big props to dad for being the dish man! (That gave me more time to play with the little ones.
While my nephews were here we had cold, rainy weather, so most of our activities were indoors. Chuck E. Cheese was one they loved, while Brittanie and Heather were in school. Uncle Dennis worked hard to win them extra tickets at skiball. (So they could get two squishy balls, and two plastic snakes, yea!)
But mostly, we just enjoyed spending time together, eating yummy food, and making sure to spend lots of quality time with our nephews. Dennis and I got to remember how it used to be changing diapers and Larry and Meghan got a little dose of what having teen-agers will be like. It was very hard to say good bye on Monday morning when they left. (Nicole was so upset, she refused to get out of the car for school. Nice way to start a Monday, with all of the teachers and other parents staring at us) But we will have more visitors shortly, Mama Ilene and Papa Ian will be here on Wednesday!
