Funny, funny story

Dennis does not understand why I find this so funny, but everytime I even think of it, I crack up. Here it goes. Ryan saved his money for a hamster a few months ago. Nicole did not want one because she said they are too noisy. Fast forward two months, and now Nicole wants one as well. She did chores to earn one, so we said she could get one, but it had to go in the same cage, because we didn't want to find room for two cages. We researched online and got mixed reviews for the combatibility of hamsters sharing a cage. Obviously, we were getting another girl. So, last Sunday we went out and picked one out. We brought Ryan's so they could make sure it was a girl, and then Nicole picked out a girl, little hamster, same breed. Well, on the way home, the hamster sounds like it is spazzing out in the box. We get home and Dennis tries to take it out of the box. It bites him so hard that it is stuck to his finger and draws blood. As he jerks his hand back in shock(Ryan's hamster never bit that hard), the hamster goes flying about a foot, right next to my lap. I ,of course, scream. (Nobody got hurt, except for Dennis) When we finally get it in the cage, this hamster, along with Ryan's normally very calm hamster launch into the biggest fight I have ever seen. (Including this high-pitched shrieking noise) We were all yelling for Dennis to take the new one out before either one got hurt. He finally got it out and put it back in the box to take it back to the store. While we were eating lunch the box is rocking back and forth. I am so afraid of "Cujo" the hamster at this point that I am begging Dennis to hurry and finish his lunch so we can take it back to the store. In the meantime, I decide to take a picture of it. In the second it took to do that, he managed to crawl up the side of the box.

Anyways, no more hamsters. Now Nicole is begging for a rabbit. Great, just what we need, something with even bigger teeth!
