Scared ya, didn't I? Well, it's not what you think. Ryan had decided that he wanted to save his money for a new pet. It was between a hamster and a turtle. The decision was made when we found out that it is illegal to sell a turtle in North Carolina. (Grandma Ilene bravely volunteered to bring one from Florida when she came up, but we didn't want her to have to spend a night in the hotel with it on her way up) So, a hamster it was. He saved for a whole month, which is a huge accomplishment for him. The morning he came in our room and told us he was going to build a cage out of Legos was the day we decided to help him with his purchase. We went out that day and got his pet. He named him Zammy( short for zamboni, he's really into hockey) She is very cute, but has a slight biting problem. (which is why everyone has decided it is mommy's job to pick her up. The gardening gloves come in very handy) Even Brittanie has fun watching the hamster. The bad part is, the hamster likes to run on it's wheel all night, and the noisy wheel keeps everyone awake, so it's home at night is in the downstairs bathroom.
